Orlagh O’Brien is a design educator with a background in branding, communications, websites and presentation. She’s worked with clients such as Vodafone, Toyota, The Mercer Group, and Diageo. O’Brien completed a master’s with distinction from London College of Communication in 2006, with the project Emotionally}Vague, which has received international interest from reputable scientists and artists.
O’Brien worked as associate lecturer in University of the Arts, London, specializing in visual research methods and an interest in semiotics, color, emotion, and information graphics. O’Brien is committed to bringing clarity to design and education through dialogue, working processes and research with the aspiration to achieve transparency and connection in the products, services, and experiences of our daily lives. She currently lives in Cork, Ireland.
