Richard Wool

Richard Wool is a professor of Chemical Engineering and director of the Affordable Composites from Renewable Resources (ACRES) Program at the University of Delaware. He is chairman of the Gordon Research Conference on Composites and is author of the books “Bio-Based Polymers and Composites” and “Polymer Interfaces: Structure and Strength.” He is interested in the evolving renewable energy infrastructure (wind, solar, tidal, geothermal) and the development of biobased materials. Wool is a fellow of the American Physical Society and member of the American Chemical Society and American Institute of Chemical Engineers. He is also the chief executive officer and founder of Crey Bioresins, which manufactures bio-based polymers and composites resins from plant oils.
