Mark Benjamin

Director of Content

Mark Benjamin is PopTech’s content director, responsible for producing and overseeing all of the reports and dispatches from PopTech’s various initiatives. For 15 years Mark worked as an award-winning investigative reporter and writer in Washington. He’s written for TIME, Newsweek, CNN, Salon.com, Huffington Post and many others.

Nadine Bangerter

Operations Manager

Nadine Bangerter is PopTech's Operations Manager, responsible for human resources and financial management. Before coming to PopTech, Nadine was senior accountant in the Dean's Office, College of Arts and Sciences, University of Delaware, where she provided accounting services for research, symposiums and programs.

Beth Cohen

Director of Media Production

As Director of Media Production at PopTech, Beth Cohen is focused on expanding the reach of PopTech’s people, projects and ideas through storytelling. Beth's career has been focused on the intersection of media and international development, and she's produced videos and conducted video production trainings around the world. She has a master’s degree in communication from Stanford University and was on the Faculty and MFA Committee at the Maine Media Workshops before joining PopTech 5 years ago.

Keryn Gottshalk

Producer

A former professional ballet dancer, Montessori guide, marketing director and survivor of a hippie childhood, Keryn Gottshalk puts her diverse talents to work as PopTech's Producer. In her current role, she tackles everything from soup-to-nuts event production to the careful crafting of PopTech's participant experience.

Louis Juska

Director of Technology

As Director of Technology, Louis oversees PopTech's technology and online infrastructure. Louis brings to PopTech over 15 years of experience in systems and programming at various Bay Area projects and organizations. His background also spans foreign languages, music, painting and writing — all of which he has less time to do with each passing day.

Chris Kelly

Associate Producer

Chris has been a factual TV producer and charity organizer in London, a writer in Paris, and a brand consultant in New York. As associate producer, he brings his wealth of experience to the team, serving as a utility player across our programs, handling Brooklyn logistics, and providing assistance to the executive director.

Kiley Lambert

Senior Researcher

As Senior Researcher, Kiley is involved in a variety of projects at PopTech — from helping with conference curation to developing new initiatives to authoring the occasional blog post. An avid traveler with a background in film and television production, Kiley has an eclectic and far-ranging set of interests which serves him well as the organization's lead researcher.

Ollie Wilder

Senior Program Manager

Ollie Wilder is senior program manager for PopTech's Initiatives, Labs, Social Innovation Fellows and Science Fellows programs. He has a background in organizational management and international development, having directed the Center for Maine Contemporary Art, managed philanthropic programs for the Institute for Global Ethics, and directed programs in Africa for Save the Children and the Peace Corps.
