How to Support Us

The Pop!Tech Institute is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization working at the forefront of thought-leadership and social innovation. Our mission is to accelerate the positive impact of world-changing people and ideas.

To fully realize our mission we incite cross-sector and cross-discipline connections. We partner with a wide array of leading corporations, educational and research organizations, NGO’s, philanthropic partners and individuals on world changing projects. The Pop!Tech Accelerator fosters these collaborations and serves as an incubator of unique social change and corporate responsibility (CSR) projects.

In 2008 the Pop!Tech Accelerator will have three primary areas of focus. They include:

Social Innovation Fellows Program, a one-of-a-kind opportunity for a select group of visionary social innovators from around the world to gain expertise, collaborate with new partners and become more effective at changing the world.

Digital Hub development is a high priority in 2008. This digital platform will facilitate year-round collaboration and social innovation projects using open-source standards.

Project Masiluleke, our first Accelerator project focused on the utilization of mobile phone technologies in the fight against HIV/AIDS in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa will be implemented in early 2008.

Corporate Partnership
We are actively seeking corporate sponsors to sustain our Social Innovation Fellows Program and develop our digital hub. Both initiatives present a number of corporate sponsorship and naming opportunities. We are also expanding our team of world-class innovation partners to insure the success of Project Masiluleke.

Philanthropic Investment
As a non-profit organization, Pop!Tech Institute solicits philanthropic support from individual donors and charitable foundations. All contributions to the Institute are tax-deductible.

Help us achieve our mission by becoming a corporate or philanthropic investment partner. To learn more about corporate partnership, philanthropic investment opportunities or how to make a charitable contribution, please contact Leetha Filderman at 207.230.2425, or at leetha@poptech.org

Thank you for supporting the Pop!Tech Accelerator.
