Uncharted Territory: We’re skewing towards questions rather than answers, seeing the future through a lens of possibility. Our destination is uncertain, but we promise an incredible journey led by a couple of hundred dedicated explorers.

Get ready for catalytic talks, spirited debates, and immersive experiences exploring the next frontiers of AI, Bitcoin, whistleblowing, and much more. Does polling have relevance? Will access to psychedelics transform human potential? Is election anxiety a real phenomenon? Is abundance a blessing or a curse? Are we on the cusp of a new world order? If so, how do we envision the shifts and their impacts?

REGISTER today to take part in PopTech’s one-of-a-kind experience.

From scientists and artists to humanitarians and explorers of galaxies, PopTech has a refreshing curatorial sensibility that gives voice to today’s most catalytic movement-makers. Field trips, immersives, and workshops

Immersive experiences are the norm at PopTech to bring the stage talks to life and open doors to new experiences, fostering lifelong connections along the way. We’ll be adding to the list in the weeks to come.

Curated talks

We focus on contrarian thinkers, not those on the typical conference circuit. PopTech has a reputation for spotting early talent who then become globally known. This year is no exception.

Randomized lunches and after-hours

The most beloved part of the PopTech experience is the randomized lunch. We provide delicious food, a seating chart, and a fantastic lunch host. You will make great connections! In the evening we’ll point you to a few fun spots and leave the rest to you. After-hours meet-ups are always a blast.

Field trips and small group sessions

Learn by doing! We’re planning field trips to unique spots around DC, taking advantage of the great outdoors, and partnering with best-in-class facilitators and guides to bring the talks you hear to life.

Expanding world views

When the world gets polarized, it’s time for a good debate. The best way to explore and dissect a topic is by hearing all viewpoints. Don’t worry, we’re committed to politely agreeing to disagree.

Our 2024 campus

Convening in dynamic, iconic spaces is a signature of PopTech and the REACH is no exception. Set on the campus of The Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts and along the Potomac River, The REACH provides a tranquil space that promotes collaboration and experimentation consistent with President Kennedy’s vision for a new frontier in the arts and diplomacy.

This event is an external rental presented in coordination with the Kennedy Center Campus Rentals Office and is not produced by the Kennedy Center.

The vibe

PopTech is noted for its authenticity and its “take action” ethos. Forbes has called PopTech “A mix between Burning Man, summer camp, and the Manhattan Project.”
